GETTING STARTED WITH EASYMOUNT
From cloud to drive.
In just a few steps.
EasyMount supports Windows x64. Install using Setup, which includes WinFsp. If Windows asks to restart to finish the driver installation, do so before connecting drives.
1. Add cloud accounts
- OpenCloud accounts, then choose a provider from the list.
- Leave the name blank to use your email after sign-in, or enter a custom name. Each account has its own name and connection.
- Sign in on your provider's page and grant access. Choose the account you want to add.
- For personal Google Drive, chooseNowhen asked about Shared Drives. A Shared Drive belongs to an organization; it is separate from EasyMount drive pooling.
- Wait for the checks to finish, then save. Repeat to add more accounts.
Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox use OAuth. Each provider's permissions and quotas still apply.
Google sign-in notes
EasyMount OAuth is in Testing mode. Every Google account must be on the project's tester list; accounts without access may receive 403 access_denied. Adding multiple accounts in the app does not bypass this restriction.
To open sign-in to the public, the project owner must complete Google's publishing and review requirements. This website does not change OAuth status.
2. Create a drive
ChooseAdd drive, enter a display name and an available drive letter. Choose an account and leave the path blank for the root folder. Read/write is the default; enable Read only to prevent file changes.
3. Pool multiple accounts
- EnableCombine multiple accounts into one drive.
- Add at least two sources, each with an account and folder. Separate empty folders are recommended for a new pool.
- Use Up / Down to arrange sources. Sources at the top are checked first.
- A limit of 0 uses provider-reported capacity. If quota is unavailable, set a folder limit in GiB.
- Check, save and connect. The default name isDrive chung; you can choose another name.
Example: the first source has 2 GiB free, the next has 20 GiB. A 5 GiB file uses the second source. Files are not split, and reordering does not move existing files. With duplicate paths, reads prefer the higher-priority source; edits or deletion may affect multiple copies.
4. Disconnect safely
Close open files and wait for uploads. Before disconnecting, exiting or uninstalling, EasyMount checks queues. If files are pending, it preserves data and reports the issue. Do not delete the cache or force workers to stop to bypass this check.
5. Rename a drive
Disconnect safely, choose Edit, rename, save and reconnect. Cloud sources are preserved. Each pool uses one drive letter in Explorer.
Windows downloads
The app is distributed through Setup, with no portable version. The installer is not yet code-signed. Public releases, when available, will be listed in the repository's Releases section.
