Information used by the app
The desktop app accesses your email, when provided, to suggest an account name. It uses file names, paths, metadata, quotas and content to display, read, cache, write or delete files according to the permissions you grant. You can change display names.
Where are tokens and data stored?
OAuth tokens, connection settings and cache are stored locally in your Windows user's EasyMount data folder. Cloud connections and transfers run directly between your computer and the provider through rclone. Cached files may include content copies; protect access to your Windows account and drives.
Website and backend
The website provides guides, supported providers, release information and write-priority examples. The simulation API processes only example names, source capacities and file sizes, without storing simulation data in a database. Do not enter account information or sensitive paths into examples.
The backend does not receive cloud tokens, passwords or app file content. The releases API may retrieve public metadata from GitHub; installed versions are compared locally. The website does not install its own advertising or analytics tools. Hosting infrastructure may process technical access logs, including IP addresses and request information, to operate the service.
Your rights and choices
You choose accounts, folders, read/write access and when to disconnect. You can revoke EasyMount access in your provider's security settings. Removing an account from the app does not delete cloud data. Uninstalling preserves settings and cache to protect pending uploads. Delete cache only after verifying all uploads are complete.
Google API
Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. EasyMount does not use cloud data for advertising or AI model training.
